About me

Hi i'm James, i'm currently studying at Salford University enrolled on the Advertising Design course and am in my 2nd year at the moment. I would say my preferred style of working is humorous and quirky. In my opinion the funniest advertisements are often the most remembered and i'm passionate at working in that style.

College final major project

All this work is still at college and i've not got it on my mac anymore because it died, this will have to do!
My tutor Chris facepalming my layout!

For my final major project we could write our own brief so i decided to do an advertising campaign for Skittles. I wanted to make them humorous and in my own cartoon style. And thats all my college work uploaded! Yes!

College work, something to pass the time

We had 2 days to wait till our new brief was given to us so i made this out of boredom for computer arts magazine. I should of just stayed at home but then i would of never made this!

College work, god knows what this was for!

I think this had something to do with our trip to New York but i can't for the life of me remember the brief.

College work, Adidas

For this project we were asked to create some items for our chosen company. I created this shoe box for Adidas. I also made some wicked awesome t-shirts and some shoe tags but i can't find them anywhere... gutting.

College work, london journey

In the first year of college we went on a trip to London for the weekend and had to make an illustration based on our journey after the trip. I love playing monopoly and i'm damn awesome at it (just ask my girlfriend) so i based my idea around it. My journey starts in what would be old kent road which i have changed to my town Flixton and ends at Mayfair which of course i changed to London. Each square on the board represents a city or landmark we passed on the way to London which i also illustrated in the middle of the board.

College work, Buglife project

Another project i did at college. The brief was to show the importance of bugs and how we need them. Obviously didn't know much about advertising at this point, looks like 2 separate campaigns!
